The choice of a Preschool is the first big decision parents are faced with concerning their child’s future. Whether you’re a full-time parent, or a part-time stay-at-home parent, or if your child stays with a nanny or a relative during your workday, you know that the child requires some socializing on a regular basis to have an overall development.
All of us know that learning is a continuous process, culminating into a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. The early years of childhood are wonderful years and therefore crucial for their formation. Through various research and other studies, it has been written that the first five years are the most formative years for the overall development of a child.
It is in the best interest of these situations and research findings; Preschool is established to meet the needs of your child. Your child will begin to learn, share, express and communicate both non - verbally and verbally; and all this learning takes place in an environment with kids of various ages groups.
Apart from benefiting the children, play groups is also a great way for you, the parents to meet other parents in your area; interact with them; understand different approaches to handling a child and most importantly build friendships that pave way for a casual meeting of friends and exchanging ideas and helping each other in a healthy way in the process of parenthood.
As the school advocates in holistic development of a child, the school focuses on the following:
• Social and emotional development
• Language development
• Cognitive and intellectual development
• Fine motor and gross motor development
• Personal awareness
• Nurturing individual potential
This apart, the school also takes efforts in inculcating moral values, as it is very important to respect other children as well as elders.
Teachers play an important role in fostering intellectual and social development of the children during their formative years. The education that teachers impart plays a key role in determining the future prospects of their students.
As many would agree that teachers are second parent to child, utmost care is taken when our staff is recruited. It is ensured that well qualified and well groomed teachers along with a passion and enthusiasm to work with children are chosen to be part of the school. They are also given a training programme, thus enabling them to understand the goal of the school.
